Big Night

Tonight is a big night. My boys the Oilers take on the Flamers for the first of two pre-season games. We are 15 mins from the puck drop and I had the chance, twice, to go to the game. First Millar called me, Morton was on his way down and he had his Dads tickets. Awesome tickets, four rows up and right behind the visitors net!! Second, Stacey called me and her great boss gave her two tickets to attend the game. No go. But I am stuck here at the Golf Depot and nobody wanted to work for me, brutal! I was choked, I have never not taken a ticket to any sporting event. This is a first. I sure hope my boys kick them around the Saddle Dome, that would be a great start to the 10 games they face eachother this season.
Anyhow, I guess the night was not a total flop, I did ring in $2.64 through the till and made quick 5 cents on the night!!! That much closer to retirement.
Facts of Life
1- Never eat a light bulb. This could cause some major bodily harm.
2- Check live wires with the back of fingers, don't grab them with the tips.
3- Weigh yourself in the morning not at night.
4- Keep in the straight and narrows.
5- Don't let Spud pick your hockey draft team, unless you have total believe in the Flames and their one goal scorer, Shawn Donovan, opps he didn't make it this year.
6- Believe everything I say, hahahaha. Gukes and Cred don't anymore, ever since the Purdy reunion! haha
