It's Five O'Clock Somewhere

We made it out east and adverted all potential problems at the airport. With the new restrictions through airport security with liquids, there is no way anyone could forget something in their bag, this includes lipstick, chapstick, water, nailpolish and even powder blush. Stacey was ticked-off when the lady at the ticket check-in made her put her blush in her suitcase. They were friendly about it so there were no disruptions.
The plain was fast, about 500kph, I'm kidding, this trip only took 3.5hrs, we slept for the first two hours, watched tv for one hour and then gocked out the window for the approch to Toronto airport. We landed, got our bags and golf clubs, walked outside and Stacey's Mom, Maureen and Shelby, Staceys sister just pulled up. We jumped in the Buick and off to were all roads meet, Walkerton.
I was palying slowpitch for the weekend and are first game was at 7:00. Last year the team was compiled of a bunch of scrubs, but we had the most fun. This year we had the potential to win the "B" division, we won the first game, since it was single elimination we lost our our second game on Saturday and we hit the beer gardens. Walkerton has a great setup, all diamonds have lights, so it was pretty awesome to play under the lights, DJ was on top of his game. Slow pitch is different out here, no co'ed, guys againest guys and girls againest girls and the pitching is 8-20. most pitchers are around the twenty mark, I found it hard to get a good hit off, so it was grounders for me for the weekend.
Saturday night brought the social, it was a rip roarin' time. They had an 11 person band, full three peice saxiphone set and shit load of guitars. So we pounded rums and B.S.'ed for the rest of night. After the beer gardens, we were walking to the "Big Show". One of Stacey's best friends has a tradition of showing her boobs at the end of the night, and it was my time to be a part of the show. I was happy. I have heard sooo many stories of this event. I think I was walking so fast that I almost left everyone behind. We got to a street lamp in the park and she turns around and tells everyone to stop. Mind you there was only three of us, it's not like she just whips the suckers out in the middle of a crowd, there are only a select few that get to see this. So up comes the shirt and she reaches in the bra and wham-o there it was, perfection. Ballzy and I give a big high-five and cheer like little school boys that just won their first game of kickball. Then came the second one, it was a repeat of the celebration before. After the "Big Show" we headed back to the Schmidt's for a late night burger and talked like a bunch of idiots. Dean and I had awesome T-shirts to wear to bed, Dean had a giraffe shirt and he was roaring like a giraffe. (Giraffe Vocalization
Types of vocalizations that have been reported:
Alarm snort
Bleating or mewing by calves
"Roaring bellow" by females looking for their young
Also moaning, snoring, hissing, and flutelike sounds. )
I had a "Speak Slowly I'm a natural Blonde" shirt. It was a funny end to the night.
Sunday we watch ball, it was all the finals on Sunday. Stacey's good guy friends were in the final, the other team had one good inning and took home the cup. Too bad guys maybe next year.
Monday was spent at the beach and watched Stacey play baseball with her old team. Tuesday we golf at the Walkerton GC and then that evening I was back at the course to play men's night with with Zeek, Ballzy and Pete. Then I hit the hay at 11:00 for some well deserved rest.
I'll let you know further activities throughout the week, sorry no spellcheck for this one. I hope it makes sence.
